VRiSBI 2011 Studytrip

The committee consists of four enthusiastic people who volunteered to make the next studytrip of VRiSBI a fact. With their input they will realize a successful event for VRiSBI. Below you will find a brief introduction of each of them.

Jan Hummelman

My name is Jan and at the moment I am a Bachelor student in my third year in Economics & Informatics. I am 22 years old and live in Ridderkerk, a place not far away from Rotterdam. I have participated in the previous studytrip to Seoul and I liked that a lot. I was wondering how it would be behind the screens and therefore I had applied for the board of the studytrip.

The preparations are going nicely and I am certain the studytrip will be an event which will be remembered by all!

Jeroen de Knijff 

My name is Jeroen and I am a fourth year student following the Computational Economics master. I am 22 years old and I live in Woerden. I decided to join the committee because I also participated in the previous study trip to Seoul. It was a great experience and I'm glad VRiSBi gave me the opportunity to participate in this trip. I’d like to experience such a great experience again when we go to Cyprus.

Jeroen van der Meer

I am Jeroen and 22 years old. Just like the other Jeroen, I am a fourth year student and also following the same master. I live Rotterdam and am also responsible for the Escape magazine you read twice a year. Just like the other guys, Seoul has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience and therefore I would like to take part in this event. As soon as I heard that there was going to be a studytrip, I did not hesitate to apply for it and with success. We have a motivated group and surely we will set out another great studytrip!

Richard Wang

At the moment I am 21 years old and currently live in Rotterdam. After years in the far east of the Netherlands I decided to move to Rotterdam and study Economics and Informatics. Currently, I am still following my bachelor and almost finished it.

Just like Serdar, I was also a boardmember and was responsible for the social activities of VRiSBI last year. I had a great time organizing these events and after my year as boardmember I decided to organize one more event. Also the experience of Seoul made me cross the line of organizing another studytrip.
